Current security clearance or ability to obtain
Can work from home most of the time
Occasional travel to Quantico, Virginia during business week/business hours will be required (based on work flow)
1 year contract with possible 1 year extension
Position start date is set for July 07 timeframe
MUST be computer and MS Office savvy
Must be willing to submit to CI Poly if asked during the course of contract
Position will involve the comprehensive review and update of SWAT lesson plans and curriculum for a federal law enforcement agency, and to assist in the development of new curriculum as requested:
- construct, revise and update lesson plans consistent with format and standards of customer.
- construct, revise and update instructional material consistent with format and standards of customer to include PowerPoint slides, digital photos, video and printed handouts.
- work closely with customer Subject Matter Expert (SME).
IDEAL CANDIDATE will be someone retired from a law enforcement or military tactical/small unit background, who has a verifiable, strong background in training, lesson plan development, curriculum development and/or adult education.
